Jackie Lee Anderson, age 83, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at AnMed Health Rehabilitation Hospital.

Born October 16, 1941, in Mouth of Wilson, VA, he was the only child of the late Herbert Lee Anderson and Goldie Holdaway Anderson.

Jack received his bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech and his master's degree from NC State. He worked in the engineering field for many years until his retirement. He was an avid tennis player and member of the Cardinal Racquet Club, and enjoyed attending all of his children's tennis matches and tournaments over the years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Shelby, NC, and was a faithful member of Boulevard Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Veronica Crumpler Anderson; children, Eric Anderson of Nicholasville, KY, Melanie Koenig (Scott) of Hampton, TN, and Charles "Chuck" Anderson (Floy) of Anderson, SC; grandchildren, Joshua Anderson (Caitlin), Daniel Anderson, Amy Anderson, Grace Guion (Austin), Faith Anderson, Abigail Anderson, Samuel Anderson, Laurel Koenig, Charlie Anderson, and Emma Anderson; and 4 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 12, 2025, beginning at 1:00 pm at Boulevard Baptist Church. The memorial service will begin at 2:00 pm with Dr. Austin Carty officiating.
