Jack R. Glenn January 22, 1933 - August 8, 2012 Jack Randell Glenn, age 79, of 3742 S. Highway 187, Anderson, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2012. Born in Oconee County, SC, he was the son of the late Rayford Crayton Glenn and the late Gertie Mae Richardson Glenn. He retired from True Temper after many years of service. Jack was an avid guitar player and known for his picking and grinning. He was a member of Andersonville Baptist Church He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Isabell Chastain Glenn; his daughter, Patty Glenn Rollins and her husband Tony of Anderson; his brother, Furman Glenn of Fair Play, SC; two grandchildren Adam Rollins and Mary Catherine Rollins Sears and her husband Chris; and two great-grandsons, Peyton Owens and Tristan Owens; and many beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Roderick Glenn and two sisters, Macie Glenn Mullinax and Rudean Richardson. The Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at 2:00 pm with Reverend Bruce Evans officiating. Interment will follow at Beaverdam Baptist Church in Fair Play, SC. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, August 11, 2012 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
