Jack Stephen Hafler, age 61, of Easley, SC, passed away Friday, March 3, 2023. Born December 26, 1961, in Bristol, PA, he was the son of Evelyn May Armstrong Hafler and the late John Joseph Hafler. Jack was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was employed with Lockheed Martin. He was a woodworker, a handyman, and jack of all trades who taught his children many things throughout their life. Jack was artistic and full of life, living every day to its fullest. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 14 years, Lisa Jo Crawford Hafler; children, Lauren Pegram (Nick), Zack Hafler (Takeko), Matthew Hafler (Daniela), and Alissa Hood (Tim); brothers, Joe Hafler and Chris Hafler; sisters, Donna Seeley, Judy Schaub, Lynn Jones, and Nancy Neuroth; and grandchildren, Caleb Pegram, Ethan Pegram, and Adelyn Pegram, Mila Hafler and Leon Hafler, Henry Hafler and Liliana Hafler, and Jaxon Hafler, Mason Hafler, Alivia Hood, Aleah Hood, and Brayden Hood. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 8, 2023, from 1:00-1:45 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The memorial service will begin at 2:00 pm in the Chapel with Rev. Chad Campbell officiating. A private family committal service will be held at a later date at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
