Jack Dempsey Heiskell, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Maynardville, TN, he was the son of the late Roscoe Heiskell and Naomi Raley Heiskell. He retired from Marmon-Transmotive as a Supervisor after many years of employment. Jack was a member of Neals Creek Baptist Church. He is survived by his daughter, Karen D. Kohlmayer (Ken), and their son, Christopher A. Kohlmayer, of Anderson; brothers, James Heiskell (Janet), and Mike Heiskell (Connie), both of Maynardville, TN; sisters, Thelma Douglass (Tom), of Oak Ridge, TN and Frances Russell (James), of Corryton, TN; and a brother-in-law, David Sharp, of Knoxville, TN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, who passed away in November 2014, Bonnie Heiskell; two sisters, Virginia Sharp and Mary Nell Heiskell; and two brothers, Edward and Roy Heiskell. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Neals Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Jason Dorriety and Reverend James Russell officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
