LANE July 10, 1923 - August 29, 2010 BELTON, SCJack Harold Lane, age 87, husband of Patricia Dawson Lane, of 1615 Broadway School road, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2010 at the AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Parrottsville, TN on July 10, 1923, Mr. Lane was a son of the late John Lester Lane and Ida Hixon Lane. Mr. Lane earned a Business degree from the University of Tennessee and served in the United States Air Force during World War II as a Navigator. He was a salesman and district manager for the Brock Candy Company with forty-four years of service. Mr. Lane was a member of the United Travelers Organization and a member of Boulevard Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, of the home; daughter, Patricia Lane ten Pas and her husband Steve of Fountain Inn; son, Jack Harold Lane, Jr., of Knoxville, TN; stepchildren, Darlene Barnes of Morrison, CO, Charlene Lynch, Deborah Seay and Duane Lynch all of Spotsylvania, VA; sisters, Opal L. Hurst of Oakridge, TN, Johnnie Marie Simpson of Farmville, VA, Pat Blackmore of Lancing, TN; brother, Newell Lane of Oakridge, TN; five grandchildren, Jackson, Brandon and Peyton Lane, Ashley Einstein Flowers and Wilson ten Pas; two great-grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Gwendolyn Lane Einstein and a brother, Cliff Lane.The family will receive friends at Boulevard Baptist Church Christian Activity Center on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm with the Funeral Service following at 2:00 pm officiated by the Reverend Dr. Jack Couch.
