Jack Hampton Warren, age 93, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017. He was preceded in death this past November by his devoted wife of 74 years, Clara Scott Warren. Born in Anderson, SC, on June 15, 1923, Jack was a son of the late Charlie Warren and the late Corene Rhodes Warren. He attended both Fellowship School and Iva High School and proudly served his country in the US Army. Jack was a member of First Baptist Church Iva. He retired from Jackson Mill after 42 years of service. Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Charles Robert Warren and his wife, Linda of Campobello, SC, Frances W. Bostic and her husband, Raymond, Thomas Warren, Ernest Warren and his wife, Vivian, and Barbara Ann Warren all of Iva, SC; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a son, Mark Warren; and his brothers, Paul Warren and his wife, Frances, Jean Warren and his wife, Louise, and John Warren. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2017, at 3:00pm at First Baptist Church of Iva with the Reverend Mike McMillion officiating. Burial will follow at Iva City Cemetery with Military Honors.
