She graduated from Belton Honea Path High School and attended Anderson College and Trident Technical College. She was legal administrative assistant for the late Sharon Marshall. Survivors include her husband, Daniel Stephen McAlister, of the home; daughter, Kasey Houlik of Boston, Massachusetts; mother, Thelma Wood McCurry; father, Earl McCurry and wife, Shirley McCurry, all of Anderson; sister, Bobbie McCurry Hall and husband, Scott Hall; niece, Haley Hall; nephew, Hunter Hall, all of Belton; and godmother, Elizabeth 'Lib' Keaton, of AndersonThe Funeral Service will be at 3 pm on Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at Gethsemane Baptist Temple conducted by the Reverend Sam Duncan. Interment will follow in the Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home from 6 pm until 8 pm on Tuesday, April 28, 2009.The family is at the home of her mother, Thelma W.
