Jacqueline Keys Welborn McConnell, age 103, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the home.

Born August 9, 1922, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late John M. Welborn and Blanche Keys Welborn. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Foster Franklin McConnell, a daughter, Janet Alice McConnell and a sister, Frances Welborn Dillard.

She loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed being at Broadway Lake. Playing bridge was a favorite pastime and she loved all animals, especially her dogs. Mrs. McConnell was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.

She is survived by a son, John Michael McConnell of Hartsville, SC; a granddaughter, Lee McConnell Hancock of Anderson; great-grandchildren, Peyton Gregory of Chicago, IL and Mary Foster Gregory of Anderson; a step-grandson, Chris Andrews of Hartsville, SC; two nieces and several "adopted" grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 4:00 pm at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor J. Chris Fischer officiating. Mrs. McConnell's final resting place will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
