He is survived by a sister, Jean Sims Watkins of Anderson; nephew, Joseph Sims, III of Pelzer; aunts, Vera Cathey and Cleo Foster, both of Anderson; great-niece, Ashley Miller of Iva and numerous cousins.The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, February 7, 2010 at 1:30 pm at Gospel Land Missionary Chapel officiated by the Reverend Robert Durham and Reverend Rhonda Anusevitch. Interment will follow in Old Silver Brook Cemetery.The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 1:00 until 1:30 pm before the funeral service.The McDougald Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
