Jacquelin Floyd McGee, age 82, of Pelzer, SC, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at NHC Healthcare of Anderson. Born August 23, 1938 in Elberton, GA, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Ruth (Lindsey) Floyd. She was married to the late Dr. Wayne L. McGee, Jr. Jacquelin was a graduate of the University of Georgia and enjoyed a 10-year teaching career before operating her husband's veterinary clinic for 20 years. Jacquelin loved to read and especially enjoyed time with her family. She was a member of Starr Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, Wayne L. McGee, III and wife Dinah McGee and Jeffery Floyd McGee; granddaughter, Catherine Lindsey Roberts; and son-in-law, David Roberts. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Fran McGee Roberts; 7 brothers and 2 sisters. A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Starr Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tony Howell officiating. The family will speak with guests immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the hospice of one's choice and the Anderson County Humane Society, 407 Pearman Dairy Rd, Anderson, SC 29625.
