Jacqueline Norungolo Thomason, wife of Joseph Thomason, of 229 Nursery Lane, Anderson, SC, died July 28, 2006, at Hospice House in Anderson, SC.Born in Sanford, NC, Mrs. Thomason was a daughter of the late James Norungolo and Mae Leuderitz Norungolo of Easley, SC. She was a member of New Hope Methodist Church, Anderson, SC, and was retired from the legal profession.Survivors include her husband of the home; sons, James Thomason, Anderson; Rev. Brian Thomason and wife Laura, Salley, SC; daughter, Donna Nalley, Anderson; two brothers, Pat Norungolo, Spartanburg, SC, and Tony Norungolo, St. Petersburg, FL; sister, Susanne Wolfe, Travelers Rest, SC; five granddaughters, Ruthie George, Anna Nalley, Brittani Thomason, Morgan Thomason, Tori Thomason; and one great-grandson.In addition to her father, Mrs. Thomason was preceded in death by a brother Michael Norungolo.A memorial service will be held Monday, July 31, 2006, at 5:00 PM, at New Hope United Methodist Church, Anderson, SC, with the Reverend Phillip Stout officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of The Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.A message of condolence may be made to the family by visitingwww.mcdougaldfuneralhome.com.THE MCDOUGALD FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
