JAIME RODRIGUEZ Jaime Velez Rodriguez, age 89, of 1113 Hickory Lane, went to be with the Lord upon his death at Ellenburg Nursing Center on Saturday, April 4, 2015. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on October 23, 1925, he was the son of the late Juan Santiago Rodriguez and the late Enriqueta Velez Rodriguez. For fifty five years, he was the loving and devoted husband of the late Luciana Almodovar Rodriguez who died in 1997. Mr. Rodriguez was retired from the Finishing Department at Clark Schwebel. Later he was employed in the maintenance department at the Anderson County Court House. He was a member of West Anderson Church of God, and later attended El Nuevo Mana Church of God. Survivors include two sons, Rev. Wilfredo Rodriguez and his wife, Dianne, of Honea Path, and Antonio Rodriguez and his wife, Maria, of Tampa, FL; three daughters, Ada McGee and her husband, Terry, of Anderson, Thelma Barton and her husband, John, of Anderson, and Gladys Rodriguez Dean of Anderson. Also surviving is his fiance, Margaret Ellett of Belton; and thirteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and his wife, Luciana, Mr. Rodriguez was preceded in death by a son, Jaime A. Rodriguez, a grandson Jaytee Rodriguez, a brother Ismael Rodriguez, and two sisters, Lucy Rodriguez Ramos and Baldra Garcia. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Jaime Rodriguez will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home, with Rev. Mark Daniel and Rev. Wilfredo Rodriguez officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the home of Ada and Terry McGee, 601 River Forks Road, Anderson, and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Contributions in memory of Mr. Rodriguez may be made to El Nuevo Mana Church of God, 1618 W.
