James Harold Alexander, 87, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Saint Francis Hospital.

Harold was born on June 9, 1936, in Anderson, SC. He was a son of the late John D. Alexander and Emma Fulgum Alexander. He was predeceased by brothers, Miles Henry Alexander, Hoke Alexander, and Grady Alexander; and sisters, Johnnie Sue McBride, Mildred Black, Grace Saylors, Willie Mitchell, Maudeen Looper and Leona Gilreath. Harold never married and was the last surviving member of his family.

A happy man, that could be seen in years past, riding around Anderson on his motorcycle. He made friends wherever he went and never met a stranger. He loved to play the guitar and gospel music. Harold was often seen in area churches, playing, and singing. He worked for Orian Rugs and attended Westside Church of God of Prophecy.

No services will be held per Harold's request.
