James Andrew Ayers, age 40, of Anderson, SC, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at his home. Born December 3, 1980, in Anderson, he was the son of David Ayers and the late Barbara Louise Meyers Ayers. James worked in the construction business laying floor covering. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife of 8 years having married on April 20, 2013, Brandy Peek Ayers; children, Caleb Coffey, Drew Ayers, Landon Coffey, Justin Ayers, and Madison Ayers; and brothers, Christopher Clay and Randall Ayers. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Ayers, Jr. The funeral service will be held Sunday, November 7, 2021, at 5:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Don Brookshire officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Chapel until 7:00 pm. Flowers will be accepted.
