OBITUARYMr. James 'Bunk' CainFebruary 15, 1922 - September 23, 2006ANDERSON, SCFLAGMr. James Harvey Cain, age 84, formerly of 1300 Hwy 29 South, Anderson, SC, husband of the late Hazel Mayfield Cain, died Saturday September 23, 2006 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson.Born in Anderson County, SC on February 15, 1922, Mr. Cain was a son of the late John McDuffie Cain and Agnes Turner Cain. He was a United States Army veteran and served in WWII during the Normandy Invasion. Mr. Cain was retired from Cain's Muffler Shop and was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Temple. He was also a resident of Summit House of Anderson.Survivors include sons, Freddie Cain of Mississippi and Donald M. Cain, of Anderson; brother, C. Vincent Cain and a sister, Marie Gary both of Anderson; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son Randy Cain and brothers, Reeves P. Cain, Ethan Cain and Harley Cain and a sister Mildred Stephens.The Funeral Service will be held at The McDougald Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, September 26, 2006, at 1:00 pm, officiated by the Reverends Sam Duncan and Larry Cain.
