He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from the Singer Corporation. Mr. Campbell was a member of Generostee A.R.P. Church.Survivors include his wife, Olga Lois Young Campbell; children: Linda Hall and husband, Ronny of Easley, SC, James Wilburn Campbell, Jr., and wife, Lorraine of Anderson, SC, and Joyce Stuart and husband, Roy of Anderson, SC; brother, Jones Campbell of Iva, SC; sister, Martha Calvin of Seneca, SC; four grandchildren: Stacey Campbell, Lisa McIntosh, Amy Bolt, and Chris Campbell; two step grandchildren: Tyler Stuart and Trent Stuart; six great grandchildren and one step great grandchild.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jackie Campbell; sister, Florence Callahan; and brothers: Lee Campbell, Barney Campbell, Aaron Campbell, and Orr Campbell.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home from 1:30 pm until 3:15 pm on Monday, February 22, 2010. A Graveside Service will follow at 4 pm at South Lawn Memorial Gardens conducted by the Reverend Dr. Jack Couch.
