J. CARL DUNN August 25, 1926 - September 24, 2013 James Carl Dunn, age 87, from Anderson went to meet his Savior on September 24. During his life Carl was employed by Abney Mills and Michelin Tire Company and made many wonderful memories and friends at each. He was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. He is survived by sons Jim Dunn and his wife Robin of Lyman and Marion Dunn of Raleigh, NC. He loved and cherished his grandchildren Melissa Fleming of Troutville, VA, Sherry Hughes of Liberty, and Derrick Dunn of Simpsonville and his six great grandchildren. He is also survived by cousin Mamie Ann Coats and friend Barbara Hardy as well as many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Helen Martin Dunn. The Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 2:00 PM at New Prospect Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Tony Smith and Reverend Tom Turner officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home from 6 until 8 on Thursday, September 26, 2013.
