James Steve Chambers, Jr., age 83, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson County, SC, in 1931, James was the son of the late James Steve Chambers, Sr. and the late Minnie Bradford Chambers. He retired from Clark Schwebel after many years of service. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Chambers, of Anderson, SC; six children, Danny White and his wife Carol, of Anderson, SC, Randy Chambers and his wife Sonja, of Anderson, SC, Ricky Chambers and his wife Kadina, of Starr, SC, Bobbie Brown, of Hartwell, GA, Sue King and her husband Michael, of Anderson, SC and Janice Corn and her husband Darrell, of Anderson, SC; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Sunday, May 31, 2015, at 4:00 p.m. with Reverend Michael King and Reverend Michael Kinard officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
