JAMES CLAUDSON James Phillip Claudson, age 76, of 304 Chestnut Blvd, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born on March 22, 1939, in Hamlet, NC, he was the son of the late Baker and Evelyn Barrington Claudson. Mr. Claudson served his country in the US Army for four years. He was a self-employed HVAC technician, and attended Taylor Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church. He is survived by his very special friend and companion of 28 years, Eva Garner of the home; 2 sons, James P. Claudson, Jr. and Del Claudson and his wife, Barbi; 2 daughters, Tabitha Stowe and her husband, David, and Tammy Claudson; 1 sister, Janie Murleen Taylor; and 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Claudson was preceded in death by a grandson, Johnathan Stowe; a sister, Shirley Claudson; and 3 half-brothers and 1 half-sister. A Graveside Service to celebrate the life of James Claudson will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, with Rev. Brent Lollis officiating.
