James Walter Crawford, 82, of Anderson, SC passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at his home. Born August 28, 1935 in Anderson County, SC, he was the son of the late Roy Clinton Crawford and the late Vada Heller Crawford. He retired as a machine operator from BASF Corporation. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Bobbie Crawford of the home; sons, Rick Crawford and Joyce of Walhalla, SC and Ken Crawford of Anderson, SC; daughters, Connie C. (Carl) Dill of Union City, TN, Patti C. (Glenn) Martin of Toccoa, GA and Gail C. (Chuck) Rudder of Anderson; brother, Haskell Crawford of Anderson, SC; sisters, Martha Pacifico of Danville, VA and Faye Chapman of Cheddar, SC; 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Fred C. Buddy E. and R. Derrell Crawford and great granddaughter, Olivia Grace Motes. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday, December 14, 2017 at The McDougald Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at 2:00 pm Friday.
