Mr. James E. Anderson Anderson, SC Mr. James E. Anderson, husband of the late Hazel G. Anderson, age 85, of Anderson, SC, went home to be with his Heavenly father on Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Toccoa, GA, on May 13, 1929, he was the son of the late Julius and Dolie Anderson. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas with a service record of 33 years. He was a member of the Men's Retiree Club. He was a faithful member of Middleton Road Baptist Church. Survivors include daughters, Audrey Pelkey (Ed) and LaDonna Blair (Carey) of Anderson, SC; grandchildren, Tonya Miller (Matt), of Starr, SC, Jeremy Keller (Brook) and Jason Keller, of Anderson, SC; great-grandsons, Brady and Carter Miller, of Starr, SC; sister, Nettie Stansell, of Anderson, SC; brothers, Charles and Billy Anderson, of Starr, SC and Herman Anderson, of Carnesville, GA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Sosby and Sue Ayers; and a brother, Randall Anderson. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. with Reverend Dr. Ralph Carter officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
