FLEMINGJANUARY 18, 1927 - April 1, 2011HONEA PATH, SC ' James Homer Fleming, age 84, of 203 Central Avenue, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2011, at the Rainey Hospice House.Born January 18, 1927, in Hart County, GA, he was a son of the late Mack Judson Fleming and Dessie Vickery Fleming. Mr. Fleming served in the United States Army and retired from Wometco Vending Corp. He was a former member of Long Branch Baptist Church and was currently a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Additionally, he was a member of the Hiram Masonic Lodge No. 68 and was an avid woodworker.Survivors include his wife of sixty two years, Elizabeth Wilson Fleming; son, Randy Dale Fleming and wife, Doris Vaughn Fleming; granddaughter, Sandy Michelle Fleming, all of Honea Path, SC; brother, Mack G. Fleming and wife, Elizabeth McClellan Fleming; and sister-in-law, Peggy Guest Fleming, all of Seneca, SC. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Bobby Meritt Fleming.The Funeral Service will be held at 2pm on Monday, April 4, 2011, at Friendship Baptist Church conducted by the Reverend Jerry Burts and the Reverend Wayne Watson. Interment with Military Honors provided by the US Army will be held at M.J.
