JAMES 'JIM' GAULT February 19, 1923 - August 6, 2008ANDERSON, SCMr. James 'Jim' Martin Gault, age 85 of 1014 Fairfield Drive, husband of the late Eula Mae Hoffman Gault, passed away on Wednesday, at the AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Fountain Inn, SC on February 19, 1923, Mr. Gault was a son of the late James Taylor Gault and Annie Knight Gault. He was a 1941 graduate of Fountain Inn High School and retired from the Seaboard Coast Line Rail Road with over 35 years of service. He was a United States Army World War II veteran having served in the European Theater with the Panther Division. He was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church and the Happy Warriors Sunday School class. He was also a former deacon, Sunday School teacher and choir member of the church. Mr. Gault was an avid outdoorsman. Survivors include his daughter, Debbie G. Busby and her husband, John of Anderson; son, Jimmy Gault and his wife, Judy of Simpsonville; sister, JoAnn Gault Hamby of Simpsonville; brother, Bryon Gault of Fountain Inn; four granddaughters, Tracy Gault, Laura Fagg Ellison and her husband, Tony, Leah Fagg Maus and her husband, Greg, Emily Busby Metts and her husband, Jonathan; four great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Polly Gault Chandler. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 8, 2008 at 11:00 am at Forest Hill Baptist Church officiated by Dr. Dean Weaver and Reverend Harvey Hughes. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Thursday, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
