Mr. Harrington was employed by Janpak, Inc. and was a member of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church.Survivors include his wife, Barbara Hilley Wiles Harrington, of the home; two daughters, Rene' Nixon of Anderson and Tammie McFry of Townville; two brothers: Roy Harrington of California and Chris Harrington of Texas; six sisters: Cheryl Semones of Anderson, Marilyn Curtis of Alabama, Dianne Shak of Illinois, Donna Harrington of Anderson, Kathy Moore of Iva, and Stacey Harrington of California; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.In addition to his parents, Mr. Harrington was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Nikki Anne Nixon.A Service of Celebration in the Life of Jim Harrington will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, December 1, 2008, at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church conducted by the Reverend Howard Jones.
