James Craig Harris, age 91, of Seneca, SC, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at AnMed Medical Center.

Born February 16, 1933, in Farmville, NC, he was the son of the late Clarence Craig Harris and Lena Owens Bundy Harris. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude Smith Harris; daughter, Becky Lash; son-in-law, James Lash; and great granddaughter, Mary Lash.

James was a veteran of the United States Army and a property appraiser. He was a devoted family man and worked hard his entire life to provide for them. His family was his treasure and, in that sense, he was a very wealthy man. He was kind, generous, had a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather who instilled a sense of values and morals in his family and always showed them love and acceptance. The hurt that is felt in his loss is tremendous and a true sign of the love his family had for him. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his daughter, Jean C. Roberson (Stephen); grandchildren, Stephen Roberson, Donald Roberson, Brian Lash, and Travis Lash (Margaret); 8 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

A cryptside service will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Heritage Memorial Gardens in Westminster.
