ANDERSON, SC'Mr. James Lawrence Hembree, age 67, husband of the late Betty Lou Mauldin Hembree, of 215 Liberty Drive, Anderson, SC died on Friday, April 21, 2006 at Hospice of the Upstate.Born in Anderson, SC on October 18, 1938, Mr. Hembree was the son of the late Claude Hembree and the late Cora Bell Loftis Hembree. He was a textile worker and a member of Gethsemane Baptist Temple.Mr. Hembree is survived by two daughters, Cindy Hembree Watkins and her husband, Ronald of Anderson, SC and Renee Hembree Hutchins and her husband, Dwayne of Starr, SC; four sons, Randy Hembree of Belton, SC, Tony Hembree of Anderson, SC, Roger Dale of Starr, SC, and James Lawrence of Starr, SC; three brothers, Billy Hembree of Anderson, SC, Junior Hembree of Pickens, SC, and Charles Hembree of Charleston, SC; two sisters, Jo Ann Baxter and Bonnie Sue Sutherland both of Anderson, SC; thirteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Hembree was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Misty Dawn Hutchins.The family is at the home of Cindy Watkins, 2207 Airline Road, Anderson, SC and at the home of Jo Ann Baxter, 803 South Manning Street, Anderson, SC.
