He was the owner of Tri-State Distributors. He was an avid golfer, a member of Boscobel Golf Club and supporter of the Anderson Interfaith Ministries.Survivors include his wife, Gail Wilson Hendricks of the home; daughter, Melissa 'Lisa' Hendricks Simpson and her husband, Roger of Anderson; grandson, Christopher Hendricks Simpson; sisters, Dorothy Richardson and Julia Parton, both of Liberty and Linda Hardin of Easley.The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Fred Pittman. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 noon to 1:30 pm.The family is at the residence, 111 Woodbridge Court, Anderson.Flowers are optional.
