JAMES HILLEY August 20, 1939 - April 7, 2007ANDERSON, SCMr. James Richard Hilley, age 67 of 402 Morningside Drive, formerly of Lowndesville, SC, died Saturday, April 07, 2007 at the AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Waterloo, SC on August 20, 1939, Mr. Hilley was a son of the late Guy Hilley and Mary Lou McKee Hilley. Following a career in textiles, he was employed by Anderson County as a truck driver. He was a member of Lowndesville Pentecostal Holiness Church.Survivors include son, James Hilley, Jr., of Starr; daughters, Teresa Hilley of Iva and Connie Gable of Lowndesville; special friend, Faye Moore of the home; brothers, Ray Hilley of Calhoun Falls and Ricky Hilley of Iva; sisters, Pat Boles of Lowndesville, Mary Prince of Calhoun Falls, Barbara Harrington of Townville and Guynelle Bridwell of Woodruff. Four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Verdin Hilley and a daughter, Rebecca Lee Hilley.The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Lowndesville Pentecostal Holiness Church officiated by the Reverends Scotty Willoughby and Benny Walker.
