James Thomas Kelly, age 69, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024, at AnMed Medical Center with his loved ones by his side.

Born March 21, 1955, in Elizabeth, NJ, he was a son of the late Thomas James Kelly and Marion Keorlet Kelly. He was also preceded in death by his brother, John "Jackie" Thomas Kelly.

Jim was a man who loved his family more than anything and his grandchildren were his joy! He enjoyed golf and vacationing at the beach with a special affinity for Emerald Isle on the Outer Banks. As an Irishman, he loved listening to traditional Irish music. Jim loved any and all sports but was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves, the Atlanta Falcons, and the North Carolina Tarheels. He attended New Covenant Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his children, Jenna Nelson (Brady) of Brookhaven, MS, John Kelly (Stephanie) of Aiken, SC, and Sarah Williams (Joshua) of Anderson, SC; sister, Kathy Kelly of Statesville, NC; grandchildren, Eli, Ben, Hudson, Abigail, Jackson, Matthew, Madison, Sadie, and Mary-Harper; nephew, Adam Sparks; niece, Anna Crouch; and former spouse, Pam Kelly Gomez.

A service will be held at a later date in Statesville, NC.
