James C. "Casey" Jones, beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, went to his Heavenly home on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the Rainey Hospice House after a lengthy illness with cancer. He was the loving son of the late Charlie H. and Rosa White Jones. He was a retired truck driver of 35 years for McLean Trucking Company and a member of Homeland Park Baptist Church. He leaves behind four children, James C. "Jimmy" Jones, Jr., Peggy "Chuck" Autry, Deborah Forrester, and Tami Pinson; 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and a special nephew, Travis Seymour. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn T. Jones; five brothers and three sisters. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend James Strickland officiating. Interment will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery.
