James L. Kaiser, 49, of 115 Dowell Road, Anderson, SC died at this residence on Monday, February 21st, 2016. He was born on June 22nd, 1966 in Columbia, SC to Lawson Kaiser and Elaine McCallum. James was a paramedic for Med-Shore Ambulance Services in Anderson for 12 years. Before moving to Anderson he had served as a Police Officer in Springfield, SC and a Volunteer Fireman at Gilbert Fire Department for over 20 years. He served as a paramedic in Lexington and Richland counties and all total had over 30 years of public service. James was the leader of strike team Charlie for Med- Shore Ambulance Service contracted through FEMA. James is survived by his loving wife: Sheila Hoernemann Kaiser of their home; two children: Jacob and Amber Kaiser; three step-children: Sebastian, Devin, and Talitha Holcombe; two brothers: John Kaiser and wife Sonya and Michael Kaiser. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Saturday, February 27th, 2016 at 2:00pm with Lt. Deno Bolt and Capt. Joey Mitchell officiating.
