James Lawrence Snider Jr., MSgt. USAF retired, age 64, of 210 Northridge Dr., Anderson, passed away on Friday, December 18th, 2015.
Born in Jersey City, NJ on October 14th, 1951, he was the son of the late James L. Snider Sr. and his wife Louise Azzuolo Snider. Larry was a dedicated military NCO and spent 14 years of his career assigned in Maine. During this period, he and his wife raised three beautiful daughters. These memorable years afforded the structure and security of the United States Air Force, and the love and friendship of many. These many friends became like family over the years.
Larry and his wife Linda of 43 years raised their family to develop a deep appreciation and love for the outdoors while spending time camping, hiking, fishing, skiing, and snowmobiling. He was an avid carpenter and woodworking enthusiast. Upon retiring in 1991 from the United States Air Force, the family moved to South Carolina where he began his career as a service manager with Ryobi/Techtronic Industries North America for 23 years. Larry was most proud of his loving wife, a registered nurse, and his three daughters that all earned college degrees and actively serve friends and their communities. His fulfillment in the last several years of his life was spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
