James Wladyslaw Lech, age 51, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2015.
Born in Lodz, Poland, he was the son of Zdzislaw Kazimierz Lech and the late Barbara Kierewicz Tomaszewski. He was self-employed as a petro-chemical and medicinal-chemical wholesaler with EML Enterprises, Inc., of Houston, TX.
He is survived by his father Zdzislaw Lech, his wife Gunn Lech; and his stepfather Boguslaw Tomaszewski. He is also survived by his son, James Nicholas Lech and his wife Katarina Wilhelmina Lech, of Anderson; two brothers, Tomas and Sebastian Lech; three sisters Beate Lech, Therese Lech and, Eva Christensen, her husband Rune, and their two children, Christopher Christensen and Emilia Christensen; an uncle, Zygmunt Kierewicz, his wife Elizabeth, and their daughters, Barbara Kierewicz and Monica Bauer.
The service will be held at Our Lady of Czestochowa Roman Catholic Church in Houston, TX, at a later date. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Houston, TX, beside his first wife, Margaret Elizabeth Lech, MD, and mother, Barbara Tomaszewski. Woodlawn Funeral Home, 1101 Antoine Drive, Houston, TX 77055 will be in charge of all funeral arrangements.
