DOYLE LOVEJune 24, 1926 - November 22, 2007BELTON, SCMr. James Doyle Love, age 81 of 109 Carroll Lane, passed away on November 22, 2007, at the AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Clebourne, Texas, on June 24, 1926, Mr. Love was a son of the late Haggard McIlwain Love and Addie Mae Stephens Love. Mr. Love had formerly been employed as a High School Agriculture Education Teacher, the Assistant Farm Director for Radio Station W.F.A.A. in Dallas, Texas, and as an Agriculture Agent for MKT Railroad. Doyle retired from the Belton Industries in December of 1989, after thirty-two and one-half years of service. Doyle was an avid gardener and had formerly served on the Belton Cemetery Foundation Board. Mr. Love was a member of the Williamston Church of Christ.Mr. Love is survived by his wife, Patsy S. Love of the home; a son, Carl Alan Love and his wife, Rita Love of Fort Worth, Texas; two daughters: Suzanne Broome and her husband, David Broome of Seneca, and Sally Love of Belton; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Louise Rogers of Port Lavaca, Texas.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Erik Broome; a sister, Helen Murray; and three brothers, Haggard McIlwain, Jr., Kenneth Wayne Love, and Dr. Charles Ray Love.A Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 25, 2007, at the Belton Cemetery, conducted by Patrick Cox and Tim Presley.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Williamston Church of Christ, 408 Mauldin Street, Williamston, South Carolina 29697 or to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, South Carolina 29621.The family will be at the Love residence, 109 Carroll Lane, Belton.A message of condolence may be sent by visiting www.mcdougaldfuneralhome.com.The McDougald Funeral Home, Anderson.
