JIM LUNDKOVSKYApril 25, 1934-February 27, 2009OBITUARY W/ PHOTO FLAGANDERSONMr. James William Lundkovsky, age 74, of 1614 Cherokee Circle, husband of Lucille Whitfield Lundkovsky, died Friday, February 27, 2009 at his residence. Born in Anderson, he was a son of the late Frederick W. Lundkovsky and Bertie Mae Ellison Lundkovsky. He served in the U.S. Navy for four years during the Korean Conflict and then joined the U.S. Air Force, where he served for five years. He was retired from Singer Corp. as a truck driver and was a member of Bible Baptist Church.Survivors include his wife of the home; two grandchildren, William Jonathan Lundkovsky of Anderson and Kevin Gregory Lundkovsky of Gaffney; and sister-in-law Deborah Mitchell and her husband Bill of Martinez, GA.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, William Gregory Lundkovsky; bother, Joe Lundkovsky and a sister, Edna Gunter.The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Ken Whitt.
