He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and retired from CSX Railroad after forty years of service. He was a Mason and a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and a devoted friend. Survivors include his daughters, Mitzi Clark Richards of Anderson and Tiffney Osborne and her husband, Jeff of Townville; brother, Scott Clark of Honea Path; sisters, Patricia Ann Bishop of Inman and Charlene Clark of Hodges; four grandchildren, Ryan Brock, Jesse and Marylee Osborne and Taylor Richards.He was preceded in death by his loving wife of forty years, Beverly Chapman Clark.The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 29, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Forest Hill Baptist Church officiated by the Reverend Kyle Caudell. Interment will follow in M.J. 'Dolly' Cooper Veterans Cemetery with military honors. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Sunday, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
