JAMES OSBORNESeptember 7, 1942 - September 14, 2008ANDERSON, SCJames Robert Osborne age 66 of 226 Foster Street, Anderson, died Sunday, September 14, 2008 at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC Born in Anderson, SC on September 7, 1942, Mr. Osborne was a son of the late Allen Columbus Osborne and Ruby Dyar Osborne. He was retired and was a member of West Whitner Baptist Church. He is survived by his daughters; Lisa Osborne of Anderson and Melanie Bearden and her husband Andy of Fountain Inn, sons; James 'Jimmy' Robert Osborne, Jr. and his wife Susan of Easley, Fred Osborne of Anderson, and Bobby Osborne of Anderson, grandchildren; Maegan Bearden, Will Bearden, Carrie Osborne, Joseph Osborne, Rebecca Osborne, and Brandon Osborne. He is also survived by his 'adopted granddaughters', Katlyn McAnally, and Lisa and Holly Hamlett, and his brother W.J. Osborne.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters; Virginia Osborne and Shirley Clinkscales and his brothers; Willie Osborne, Gerald Osborne, and R.M. Osborne. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with the Rev. Jonathan McGary officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Monday, September 15, 2008 from 6-8 pm. The family is at the residence.
