He was retired from Strange Brothers Construction Company and a former employee of Tribble Construction Inc. He was a member of Harvest Baptist Church.He is survived by his wife, Fannie Laura Hall Parnell of the home; sisters, Mickey Nichols of Cleveland, OH, Jo Ann Simpson of Rock Hill, SC, Jeanette Nix of Anderson, SC, Margaret Fowler of Anderson, SC and Patsy Emerson of Greenville, NC.A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at 3:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson, SC, officiated by the Reverend Sam Chasteen.
