REEPEAPRIL 30, 1929 - June 23, 2011ANTREVILLE, SC ' James Emmett Reepe, Jr., age 82, of 872 Wall Street, Iva, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2011.Born in Omaha, NE, he was a son of the late James E. Reepe Sr. and Anna Krupa Reepe. Mr. Reepe served in the United States Army and retired from Abney Mills. He was a member of Asaville Baptist Church where he had served as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. As an avid gardener, he enjoyed sharing his beautiful flowers for occasions such as church arrangements and weddings as well as sharing his many vegetables.Survivors include his wife of fifty-nine years, Barbara C. Reepe; daughter, Deborah L. Hall of Antreville; son, Mike Reepe and wife, Sandra, of Antreville; four grandchildren: Julie Fleming and husband, Mike, Ryan Hall and wife, Terri Ann, Kevin Reepe, and Anna Reepe; three great-grandchildren: Allison Fleming, Katie Fleming, and Taylor Fleming; sisters: Ruth Wentzky of NC, and Jo Ann Wilson of Belton.A Graveside Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, June 25, 2011, at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by the Reverend Harold Walters. The family is at the home and received friends at The McDougald Funeral Home from 6pm until 8pm on Friday.
