James Thomas Roach, 76, of Anderson, SC, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023, at Rainey Hospice House. Born June 3, 1946, in Anderson, SC, he was a son of the late George W. Roach and Ovie Atkinson Roach. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Charles and John Roach and sisters, Jimmie Crocker and Mary Roach. Thomas retired from the textile industry and was a member of River of Life Church of God. He loved fishing, gardening and working in the yard. He was an honest, hardworking, Christian man that loved all of God's creations. He is survived by his sisters, Altha Jo Roach and Marion S. Roach; and nephew, Brian Crocker (Jamie) and his family. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 5, 2023, from 9:45 am - 10:45 am at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Dale Dyar officiating. Burial will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to River of Life Church of God, 601 S.
