Robertson, died Thursday, September 29, 2005 at RMC Veterans Nursing Home in Anderson, SC.Born in Hart County, GA on June 7, 1910, he was the son of the late Christopher Paul Robertson and Elizabeth De Fore Robertson. Mr. Robertson was retired in 1969 from Standard Oil/Exxon Company as a truck dispatcher with 25+ years of service. He was a member of the Golden Kiwanis Club, the National Republican Club, the First Monday Club and was a United States World War II veteran. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Spartanburg.Survivors include two sisters, Erma Leigh Robertson and Hazel Robertson Walters, both of Hartwell, GA; two nieces who were primary caregivers, Lane Morrison and Anne Adams and numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2005 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Christopher Adams. Entombment will follow in Greenlawn Cemeteries Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, Spartanburg, SC.The family will receive friends at funeral home on Saturday, October 1, 2005 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.The family will be at their respective homes.Flowers are optional.
