James Farris Robinson, age 72, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at his home.
Born in Hart County, GA, he was the son of the late Monell Robinson and the late Ora Belle Brown Robinson. He was a 1962 graduate of Hart County High School. James proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserves in the 415th Chemical Brigade, retiring after 30 years of service. He was a self-employed Stone and Tile Mason and a member of Young Memorial ARP Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ann Temple Robinson; children, Mollie Brockman and her husband Jimmy, Lee Robinson, Jennie Evans and her husband Jim, Claire R Greeson and her husband Jimmy, Kyle Kesler and his wife Angie, Anna McDonald and her husband Jamie; a brother, Kenneth Robinson; a sister, Martha Nell Wells; and grandchildren, Kathryn Brockman, Jacob Evans, Victoria Evans, Macy Robinson, Nathan Robinson, Lorin Greeson, Lauren and Karlee Kesler; and his beloved dogs, Luke and Willy.
The Funeral Service will be held at Young Memorial ARP Church, 508 Boulevard, Anderson, SC on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. with Dr. Robert W. Bell officiating and remarks by Dr. Nick Hopkins. The family will receive friends following the service in the Rainey Room.
