James "Rick" Rogers III, age 68, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Callie and John Rainey Hospice House.

Born September 21, 1957, in Anderson, SC, Rick was the son of the late James Richard Rogers Jr and Doris Rogers. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Buddy Rogers.

For many years, Rick worked in the textile industry until his retirement from Glen Raven, taking great pride in his craft and the work of his hands. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He loved his wife, Wanda, deeply and they were inseparable for thirty years. Rick loved to bowl and go fishing. He had a fun personality who loved to cut up and joke. He enjoyed spending time with his family and going to the beach. He was great at putt-putt, had a love for eagle statues and figurines, and an avid Clemson Tiger fan.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Rogers; son, Gerald Dixon (Kimberly); sister, Janice Richey (Ronnie); grandchildren, Gerald Dixon, Jerry "JR" Dixon, Jeremy Dixon, and great-grandchildren Mason Dixon and Jerry Dixon.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 11:00 am at New Silver Brook Cemetery.
