He was retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas with 20 years of service. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Pacific Theatre and was of the Baptist Faith.Survivors include his wife, Margie Bethi Allen Sanders of the home; sons, Jerry Thomas Sanders of Westmont, IL, James Lincoln Sanders and his wife, Rebecca of Anderson, SC, William David Sanders of Anderson, SC and Dale Randall Sanders and his wife, Alison of Rutherfordton, NC; daughters, Debbie Lynn Gianoli and her husband, Michael of Wisconsin and Marie Montez Refosco and her husband, Emil of Pickens, SC; a sister, Mavis Price of Hyattsville, MD; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2006 at 5:00 pm in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel officiated by the Reverends J. Floyd Stansell, Jr., and Jared James. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum with Military Rites. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Thursday, March 30, 2006 from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm.The family will be at the home of his son, James Sanders, 128 Olivarri Drive, Anderson, SC.Flowers are optional.
