James Robert Sellers, 53, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at his residence. Born August 10, 1965, in Anderson, SC, James is a son of Linda Louise Lollis Pollard and the late James David Sellers. After graduating from Westside High School, James proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. In addition to his mother Linda, James is survived by his brothers, James Michael Sellers (Priscilla) of Iva, SC, David Lee Sellers (Amanda) of Anderson, SC, Jerry Lee Pollard of Michigan; 12 nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, James was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jerry Luther Pollard. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 8, 2019. The funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Bishop David Sellers. Interment will follow at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted.
