HAROLD STEPHENS, SR. November 18, 1940 - September 12, 2013 ANDERSON, SC James Harold Stephens, Sr., age 72 of Anderson, passed away at his residence on Thursday, September 12, 2013. Born in Anderson County, SC, he was the son of the late Edgar Stephens and the late Minnie Every Stephen Simpson. He retired from Southern Weaving of Anderson with over 40 years of service. He was a member of Trinity Springs Church of God where he served as the secretary of the Men's Bible Class. Harold enjoyed his Sunday School class, especially the singing and the many breakfast outings they shared. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Claudie Walls Stephens; a daughter, Angela Haulbrook and her husband Tim, of Simpsonville, SC; a son, James Harold Stephens, Jr., of Anderson; grandchildren, Timothy Haulbrook and his wife Lauren, Nicole Dolderer and her husband Jim, Cameron Stephens and his wife Lacy, Cody Stephens and his wife Darrah, and Robert and Paul Seabolt; great-grandchildren, Nick, Eli and Bella Dolderer, Kyleigh Haulbrook and Gabreille Stephens; a sister, Emily Owen; and brothers, Charles Stephens, and Monte and Stanley Simpson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Freddie Stephens. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home. Reverends Scott Vaughn and James Patterson will officiate. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Honorary Pallbearers will be the men of Trinity Springs Church of God. The family is at the residence and will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 14, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
