James Wilton "Jim" Shaw, 78, loving husband of Brenda Hall Shaw, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born July 8, 1942 in Abbeville, SC, Jim was the son of the late Jessie Shaw and Evelyn Webb Shaw Kidd. Jim proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and earned his Associates Degree in Business Management at Tri-County Technical College. He worked as a manager at Michelin where he later retired. In addition to his wife, Brenda, Jim is survived by his nieces and nephews, Pat Sherard, Sherry Thomason, Malinda Brown, "Buddy" Thomason, Jerry Thomason, and Ronnie Thomason. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his nephew, Danny Thomason. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 17, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in The Courtyard of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Dwight Greene officiating with military honors by The Campbell Patriots. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jim's honor to the Cancer Association of Anderson, 215 E. Calhoun St., Anderson, SC 29621.
