June Janice Latham, age 94, of Iva, SC, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at her home.

Born June 5, 1931, in Royston, GA, she was the daughter of the late Lee Thomas Butler and Lily Maude Welborn Butler McGinnis. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Clinton Lee Adams; second husband, Wade Echoles Latham; brothers, James Daniel Butler and Lee Thomas Butler, Jr.; sisters, Betty Ann Minor and Mary Lee Young; grandson, Jody Adams Powell; granddaughter, Kinsi Nicole Burriss; and a great grandson, Colton Lee Adams.

Jan was a loving mother and cherished the time she spent with her family. She was retired from The Singer Co. and was a member of First Baptist Church of Iva.

She is survived by her children, Clinton Lee Adams (Tanya), Tena Delain Burriss (George), Tonda Darlene Powell (Roscoe), Wade Echoles Latham (Pattie); brother, Raymond Butler (Sue); grandchildren, Keith Burriss (Tonya), Travis Burriss (Pattie), Janna Garner (Mark), Sonya Flint, Tammy Partain, Gabriel Lee Adams, Allison Adams, Clay Adams (Stephanie), Caleb Adams (Rebecca), Mallory Lindley (Josh), and Kalen Latham; 27 great grandchildren and 22 great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 2:00-2:45 pm at First Baptist Church of Iva. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm with Rev. Jerry Gray and Pastor Mike McMinn officiating. Burial will follow at Iva City Cemetery.
