Mrs. Jane Carithers Cain, 68, of 123 Landau Lane, Anderson, SC died on Wednesday, November 18th, 2015 at Rainey Hospice House. She was the daughter of the late James D. and Geraldine Cooper Carithers on October 15th, 1947 in Anderson, SC. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church and worked as a court stenographer in the Anderson County Court System for 31 years. Jane is survived by her husband: Don Cain of their residence; four children: Jennifer and Donna Cain both of Anderson, Andrew Allen of San Diego, CA, and Johnny Gray of Anderson; and one sister: Robbie James and husband Brad of Anderson. In addition to her parents Jane was preceded in death by a brother: Jimmy Carithers. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 20th, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Marcaurelle officiating. The Cain family will receive friends from 12:00pm-1:30pm prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
