Jane McCurry Hudson, age 86, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018, at Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson, SC, on January 28, 1932, she was the daughter of the late John Temple Hayes and the late Lois Ellison Hayes. Thomas M. McCurry and she founded Marshane Corporation, an industrial packaging company, in 1973. Following his death in 1988, she served as president until her retirement in 2008. She is survived by her son, Greg McCurry and his wife, Lori; a grandson, Greg McCurry, II and a sister, Brenda Council in Florida. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas M. McCurry; her second husband, Robert Hartsfield Hudson; and her siblings, Dorothy Wicker, David Hayes and Sarah H. Thompson. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Dr. Marshall Fant, III officiating. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
